Little Red

In a land that is now lost, but not much different then our own, lived a girl. This girl was known for having her nose in a book and head in the clouds. Her name was Celene. Although she often went by the nickname Red. Red was the pride and joy of her family. She won awards applauding her academic achievements. Red wasn't reliant on the validation these awards gave her but her family seemed to expect it from her now. She was more than content in the comfort books and imagination provided her. Some days she wished to be swept into the world in her head. One with magic, dragons, kings and queens. But every reader wants that, don't they? Why should she be granted this wish of all people?
