Web of Lies

After losing her father (Jack Wright) about 6 months ago, Lucy Wright is learning to navigate a new life, a new career, and new feelings. Her best friend Malachi Jacobs has always been there for her, and does his best to keep her from feeling alone in her grief.
Malachi spends most of his time with Lucy, having been her father's woodworking apprentice before his passing. Malachi now runs the business on his own, helping with anything he can around her house, just like her father Jack would've wanted.
Lucy has started cleaning houses for a living, but is struggling to make enough money to keep her childhood home. With Malachi's help, she hangs posters around town to advertise her cleaning services.
After seeing one of her posters, charismatic Sebastian Moroso and his successful father Richard Moroso hire Lucy to be their maid once a week. Lucy is incredibly grateful. After all, the Moroso's ARE the richest family in Clintwood.
However, Lucy doesn't know what she's in for...
Malachi tries to tell her to stay away from them, but she won't listen.
Are they really as bad as he says they are? Why does he care so much about her wanting to be their maid? Is there something she doesn't know about?

As time goes on, both Lucy and Malachi find themselves caught between two choices; should they keep their secrets to themselves, or just be honest with one another?
