Arthur figures out Merlin has magic/Merlin tells him - this story has two alternative versions of chapter one but the rest is the same. Both begin in season 5 episode 5 when Arthur has to decide whether to save Mordred by legalising magic. What follows is how the story might have played out if Merlin had revealed his magic/Arthur found out about Merlin's magic at this stage - would Mordred still have joined Morgana? Would Arthur still have died? Read to find out.
