Y/N's life is simple seeing as there aren't any emotions to complicate it. As a child WCKD ripped her away from her family. From there they did every new experiment imaginable. She was the ultimate test subject. All because she didn't seem to react when they shot her mother. The truth is as a child in a cruel world who just didn't know how. They didn't see it that way though. She was nothing more than an experiment. Now she's unable to feel emotions.

Or so she was convinced. Then, she's made to interview him. Aris seemed to pull her in. For some reason her heart didn't seem completely frozen when he was around.

Aris, the only other survivor from her group, doesn't trust a word they say-and after a new group of boys bursts in with warnings of lies, manipulation, and something far worse lurking beneath the surface, neither does she. One of the boys stands out amongst the chaos. There's something in the way he looks at her-like he's seen the same horrors, like he understands her in a way no one else has. And no matter how much danger they're in, she can't seem to stay away. Everything you knew started to change. And now you are wanted by W.I.C.K.E.D. So make your choice.
