Hello, I am Archivist. I travel the universe on board 'The Tempest' and entertain the crew each night with one of the stories I have collected throughout many years and travels. Some stories are of historical events, some are children's tales, and some are just fun stories about ordinary people. Maybe one day, I will even tell my story.

Twenty five years after the attack of alien spacecraft, Earth is no longer the same. Not for humans, let alone for me, who was born from a human and an alien. We are exiled because we are considered traitors and live on the fringes. It's not a problem for me because it brings benefits, especially in the marriage program that I have avoided for the past seven years. Until finally, I can no longer escape and have to follow this program. I have prepared hundreds of ways to escape, but they have thousands of ways to keep me there. To make matters worse, the alien who is my soon-to-be husband is the feared General. The worst news is that I am the sixth bride-to-be. The other five disappeared into the galaxy.

Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. Instead he got put on a Scout ship with just one other soul and sent on a five month mission out into deep space. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity. This short story is just over 18,000 words and contains sexual content between two men, so If that's not your cup of tea.. don't read :) This is my first attempt at something like this, so feedback is welcome, though be nice :)

Find out as Max, his family, and his friends discover things that not only lead him further down his path of fate, but help him discover more about himself and the universe. This is not your typical SciFi/Fantasy Novel. It's so much more. This story is a mix of teen drama and space politics. It's kind of a mess but like, so am I. Every chapter is important, so don't skip any! Is this book mature cause I like to swear? You be the judge. IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS A DRAFT!! THIS IS NOT THE FINAL VERSION OF THIS BOOK!! THE FINAL VERSION WILL HOPEFULLY BE ON STORE SHELVES CAUSE THAT'D BE SO COOL!! (Final version will include whatever tweaks are necessary to have all 4 books sync perfectly)

This book is heavily influenced by the ideas and themes from the TV shows 'Stargate SG1' and 'The Expanse'.
