After Kirishima was exposed as the traitor at U.A., Katsuki Bakugo was completely devastated. Kirishima had been his best friend, someone he trusted more than almost anyone else. The news hit him harder than he ever thought possible. Overwhelmed by grief, Bakugo stopped eating properly and barely trained anymore. The fiery determination that usually burned inside him had been replaced by anger, confusion, and heartbreak. At the time, Class 1-A was in NewYork for a special training program. While everyone else tried to focus on their lessons, Bakugo spent most of his time alone. One cold evening, he sat in his dorm room, tears streaming silently down his face as he replayed every memory he had with Kirishima, wondering if any of it had ever been real. Unable to stay trapped inside any longer, Bakugo wiped his eyes and stepped out onto his balcony for some fresh air. The cool Canadian breeze brushed against his skin as he stared out into the darkness. Then he froze. Standing below, illuminated by the faint glow of the campus lights, was someone he never expected to see again. Him.

MATURE CONTENT NOW ON PATREON (link in bio for access to a smut chapter) "And now, his lips were stained with the thought of something that'd crossed his mind before, but he'd shoved away. Stained the same red as those bright vermilion pools, his crimson-dyed strands. Why was everything so red?" _________ After moving away from Japan for a placement in America, Bakugo had cut himself off from his old high school friends. Hell, he barely contacted his family. But, upon his first night of returning to Musutafu, he ran into his old friend. Perhaps, it was a mistake, rekindling such a raging fire. #87 BakuKiri out of 1000+
