Katsuki had spent the majority of his childhood locked away in his family's mansion, unable to experience the outside world like any normal child. His strict and controlling parents were obsessed with maintaining their perfect image in society, and they saw Katsuki as a liability and a distraction from their goals. As a result, they kept him isolated and sheltered, constantly punishing him for any minor mistake and trying to mold him into the perfect son and future husband.
The only solace in Katsuki's life was his childhood friend, Izuku Midoriya. Despite their contrasting personalities, they had always been close. Izuku was the only one who truly understood Katsuki and his struggles, always standing by his side and keeping him company in his lonely existence.
But everything changed when their middle school year was coming to an end. Izuku suddenly disappeared from Katsuki's life, leaving him feeling abandoned and forgotten. Katsuki was devastated, wondering why his only friend would leave him behind.
As the years went by, Katsuki's parents continued to neglect him, getting caught up in their own pursuits and forgetting about their son's existence.
