Thorn is an alternate universe 16th-century gothic supernatural thriller. A soft-spoken poor boy named Alexander Cardoso growing up in the slums of war-torn Spain does whatever he can to provide for his family. Everything goes well for Alexander he completely ignores the weird smells from beneath the brick roads and the reports of murder victims being returned as bloodless meat bags, as long as he can provide for his family and their stomachs are full then everything's fine.
