emotionless Tartaglia x Zhongli who tries to help him express himself and get a life. Or, Tartaglia has been weighed down from the past since the beginning, Zhongli has to teach him how to feel again (and get a life!!). Also, a heads up, Childe isn't mute in this story. He just doesn't talk like that one quiet kid- There are spoilers in this fanfic btw. More specifically, the archon quest in Liyue. Following a malfunction during one of Dottore's experiments, Childe is lost to the Abyss for a week. Summoned to Snezhnaya to assist, Zhongli meets a darker and more tormented Childe than the one who left Liyue only weeks prior, and thus begins his journey to help return Childe to his prior self. Unless, of course, the version of Childe that Zhongli once knew has already been lost to the Abyss' call...
