This story takes place in the elemental tournament season of ninjago (season 4) Also uh slow burn?? Idk i just randomly decided to do this- thats a lie. I've had this story in my mind for months.
Just an FYI, this is old and on a very long hiatus. I am working on another lloyd x reader though ;) it's the movie version, but with my own little twist and oc, so stay tuned for that! It will be a long one for sure 💚
Lloyd had asked the other ninja to go to Chen's noodle house to talk and try and get the team back together after zane's sacrifice when a guy with baggy ripped black jeans and a gray hoodie came in and went to pickup his noodles when suddenly some thugs came in and attempted to rob the place.

When one day, you went over to his house, and his Dad said that he had gone away to the Marty Oppenheimer School of the Art's, which didn't sound right. After a few months, weird stuff started happening to you. One day, you were approached by an old man, claiming that you were an Elemental master, and that you needed to train to be a ninja. At first you were sceptical, but after some thought, you went with him. After about a month, the man said he wanted you to meet some other people like you. You didn't know what you expected, but you didn't expect Cole to be one of the people you were to meet. (May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet...
