Revan was born on Tattooine and grew up with Shmi Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker, although they are not blood-related. When Revan was 9 years old, his mother passed away, and Shmi took him in out of respect for Revan's mother who was a close friend of Shmi's. Not much is known about Revan's father, but before leaving he gave Revan his name and said to his mother, 'His destiny lies here when the time comes'.All Rights Reserved

In hiding, he watched as the Empire rose, as the galaxy fell into darkness, as the few remaining Jedi, scattered and alone, fought a losing battle. He had failed them all. He wandered the galaxy, a broken man. The Empire's grip tightened, its tendrils of control and fear spreading ever wider. He watched as worlds fell, their populations crushed under the heel of the Emperor's boot. He knew he could do nothing to stop it. He was nothing but a failure, a shadow of his former self. He failed everybody who ever believed in him, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Padme, Riyo... and Anakin. The thought of him brought a bitter taste to his mouth. He had failed his brother.
