In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. As the Imperium of Man battles ceaselessly across the stars, a new evil festers beyond the veil of reality. The world of Runeterra, a hidden world cloaked in an impenetrable veil, is now the heart of an unspeakable corruption. A force insidious in nature and dripping with Chaos itself has taken root, twisting magic into an unholy fusion of destruction. Dark gods whisper in the shadows, summoning horrors that defy the Emperor's divine will. But the Imperium does not falter. Guided by the God-Emperor's undying light, a single Grey Knight is thrust forth-a lone warrior clad in adamantium and faith. It is the 41st Millennium and the Imperium of Man only knows war. Chaos threatens to topple it, aliens and Xenos come at it from all sides. There is only war. But for the group under control of Imperial Inquisitor Haydrax Ishamael Ignatio Jacobeam the Fourth, they face the true enemy of the Imperium: the forces of Chaos and the Heretics that follow the Ruinous powers. But after a stop at Tarsis Ultra brings them into a warzone spanning a planet, much like many more. But admist the ruins and desolation, one of their own remembers the horror that awaits in the planet.
