We've always heard that opposites attract and like forces repel. Most love stories celebrate opposites, but rarely do we hear about those with similar characters. Let's explore *"Fate of Roses and Thorns"* to see what destiny holds for Shourya and Vaishnavi, who share striking similarities.

"Shourya," he said with an intimidating gaze.
"Huh?" I replied, confused.
"Shourya, just Shourya-not Mr. Vasudev, not Kavya ke Bhaiya, not anyone's Bhaiya-just Shourya," he said, stepping closer, his tone dangerous. "And don't even think about calling me Bhaiya."
*Oops! I think I'm in trouble. My inner voice scoffed, "You think? ...hahaha... Vaani baby, you are actually in trouble."*

Vaishnavi Arya, a 23-year-old girl who moved from London to India, never felt she belonged. In London, she was outcasted as a tacky, underprivileged Indian. In India, she faced comments like, *"Look at this girl. Just because she's Hindu and looks Indian doesn't make her one. An Indian girl is known by her culture, which she knows nothing about. No matter how much she tries, she will never belong here."*
These judgments haunted her, especially after life took painful turns, full of thorns. Despite her efforts to find roses among the thorns, life kept presenting new challenges.
In the midst of this, she encounters Shourya, who dramatically changes her life, bringing her the biggest thorn yet and binding her to him unwillingly.
Will Vaishnavi find the fragrance of roses or be entangled in the thorns forever? Dive into their tale and see what fate has written in the stars for them.
Getting dressed I grabbed the hodni (scarf) as a mere source to cover my shame, he pulled me out of the room. With the pain all over my body especially the lower body, I wasn't able to walk; matching his speed was out of the question.
I pleaded with him to stop, to have mercy on me but just like last night, my words were sent to deaf ears.
Not able to match his pace, my steps were misplaced making me fall but it didn't stop him. He dragged me down the stairs in the same state injuring my entire body. I cried helplessly but none of his family members had even a hint of guilt. Everyone's eyes hold only one emotion for me which is disgust.
Sitting on a knee he grabbed my hair in a painful grip and the words that came out of his mouth were something which I never expected.
"The biggest mistake I've made in my life is, loving you." He said while tears flowed from his eyes.
