After a cataclysmic event caused by mysterious celestial orbs, the world is reshaped into a realm where magic, power, and survival intertwine. Among the survivors is the Silvermist family, simple people living near a cemetery in the newly reborn Kingdom of Earth. Their peaceful life shatters when Gaia, the eldest daughter, is discovered to possess a rare orb. The kingdom forcibly takes her away, leaving her brother Garner vowing to rescue her.

Some brief profanity, as well as a couple of homophobic slurs. Slightly more graphic and violent than the Last Knights of Cambia series, though nothing overt. Some mild sensuality, two character kiss. It is discussed characters have kissed. Another two characters embrace in what could be perceived as a romantic manner.
