Whispers Across the Atlantic - A Hogwarts Legacy Fanfiction

The sun shines through the mountains, peeking through the windows of the Maplewood Girls' Orphanage in the small village of Maplewood, New York. Lizzie Winslow wakes up expecting the same routine she has every day: wake up, breakfast, outside, chess, dinner, sleep, repeat. She awakens on a cold January morning, not to the rays of light blinding her vision, but to knocking on the window next to her twin bed. She looks over and sees an owl... but wait- is it holding an envelope?

Lizzie Winslow is an American girl, confiding in any gods she can pray to that her life will change for the better. After the incidents, she has found no hope in regaining any form of self. But what will happen when her prayers are answered, and is the turmoil and stress making her regret ever praying at all?
