In this crossover, the Doom Slayer finds himself in an entirely new world where the rules of combat, morality, and society differ greatly from what he's accustomed to. After defeating Devoth and entombing himself in his sarcophagus for his well-deserved rest, he is unexpectedly awakened by a disembodied, cryptic voice. Before he can comprehend what is happening, he's transported to an unfamiliar reality. The Doom Slayer is not alone, however. To his dismay, the Icon of Sin - a demon of immense power whom he's fought before - has also been resurrected and summoned to this world. Unlike the Doom Slayer, who is always prepared for battle, the Icon of Sin is completely disoriented.
