What will you do, when you have only 5 days left, before a dead-or-alive challenge happens?
Rebecca is having a highly risky brain surgery next week. Time is extremely precious for her. Yet she chooses to finish reading a book, which is unfortunately mine.
I am a failing writer whose stories go nowhere. There are still two more chapters to write for this book, but I am having a writer's block.
I visit her in the hospital, and greatly inspired by her courage under the unfortunate circumstances. However, can I finish the book in time for her? I'll try my best.
Once again, my mind flies back to the post-apocalypse world of my fiction, searching for a way to end the book properly...

This is an attempt to mix comedy with tragedy. Some content is quite heavy, like cancer, depression, sick patients...etc. So prepare a tissue, just in case.
I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply.
The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution.
There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me. Sincerely appreciate their friendship.
It has totally 8 chapters. Each one has about 2000 to 3000 words.
Disclaimer: Everything here is fake, never happened and completely fabricated by my wild imagination. The story has nothing to do with Wattpad or any website, because seriously, nothing is real here. If someone happens to have a similar experience, that's just coincidence.

Hello, Logan here. It is 2021, and this is the first book that I ever wrote. It's shit. I'm publishing it back on Wattpad again so my friend can read it. It is unedited and as I left it in 2017. I am currently published with three books out, and this is so funny to look back on. Enjoy reading my shittest work to date. In the words of a great philosopher; there is no limit to the gruesome and grotesque things we are willing to do in the name of survival. While reading this; Remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember that loved characters will die. Remember that the world will gradually get worse as the parts go on. Take a moment to ask yourselves these questions: What would you do in the name of survival? Would you steal to survive? Would you kill to survive? Would you lose your mind to survive? If you lost your mind, do you think you'd kill more, steal, injure, backstab, rape or any other atrocity you can think of? If you can think of it, then maybe you would. The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. This story tells Lauren's journey before she met the infamous rick grimes and what she has to go through before she crosses their path and it all leads up to their big meeting on the rail road tracks, a spy and a cure. Will she ever find her sister? Lauren is in her worse state of mind after losing everything she's ever loved and gets to meet Rick in his scariest state of survival also, relating to him more than anyone else in the group having done the same things as Rick to survive at all costs. I do not own The walking dead characters or scenes, only characters I made up outside of the cast. If i accidentally stole ideas from anyone it was not on purpose; I haven't read any twdfanfic. I'd written 'Unstoppable' before, but due to me rushing and the youth in my body, the book seemed to loop and never progress. I think the idea is fantastic, but the execution is poor.
