Ethera Yearwood and Rowan Barlowe are two very competitive 18-year-olds from different families. Families each year fought for the pride of winning a yearly skiing competition. Each year the eldest in the family has to partake in a skiing competition where the price is pride for the whole family. The Barlowe family has won twice in a row, maybe this is the year for the Yearwoods? While racing each other, Ethera and Rowan start to develop some feelings for each other.
