She needed someone to talk to, to hold her like her parents used to before they passed. She needed some sort of comfort in this messed up world, and he was the only one able to provide it.

He needed clarity on the fact that he wasn't a monster as people put him out to be. He needed someone to assure him that all would be fine and his family wasn't a lost cause, and she was his only form of solace.

𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 just arrived in Los Angeles to finish her last and final year of high school. The young British girl has gone through shit though, and after spending time with the friends she just made, she wasn't so sure if trusting them was a good idea.

𝐗𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎 is... different. The Italian is able to break her boundaries and get close to her with just his actions, and he develops a liking to her. In fact, it might've been love at first sight.

But the weight of his past, taking part in his mum's business, while still juggling a lot in the back of his mind, his plate is quite full. And adding an attractive French brunette doesn't make things easier.

As they spend time together, inevitably, the two realize that they have a lot of things in common, and the other one isn't so bad after all.

Although, with Amelia's guard so high all the time and the heavy weight that's put on Xavier's mind, what will happen when he finds out what's up with Amelia?
