An abomination. A taunt that had embedded itself into her very soul. Amelia hated her paper skin, her abyss eyes. People feared her for her unnatural features and avoided her like the plague. She was resented because she did not resemble either of her parents. She was an outcast because she spoke her mind and participated in sword fights.
