As she spends more time with Steve, she finds herself drawn to him but also wonders if staying with him would prevent her from uncovering the truth behind her visions. As the story progresses, we see Vera trying to balance her feelings for Steve with the need to solve the mystery behind her dreams.

Charlie Fury, a child adopted from India as a toddler, was brought up in New York by the infamous Nick Fury. She is used to hustle and bustle of the city around her and knows all there is to know about life. She has everything figured out and planned. Except when she doesn't. Charlie works for SHIELD as an agent/assassin. She hides in the shadows and listens to the secrets people spill. She only has a few friends, two of which are Clint and Natasha. Charlie loves them both dearly but is ignored by the rest of the Avengers. Until she isn't. One mistake was made and she is shoved into the light. Charlie was used to it but she was finally noticed by James 'Rhodey' Rhodes, the man she's admired and loved for a long time.
