A while after ending her 2 year relationship with her previous boyfriend, Shebahn decides to rip off the bandaid and try going on dates again. She doesn't feel quite ready, but she pushes herself to get out there again. After a few failed dates, she has one that goes better than expected. He seemed kind, but a bit quiet and laid back- she couldn't quite read him at first. She didn't feel quite comfortable driving home after 2 drinks as she put them down pretty fast, so he offered to drive her home. "I'm not letting you take a cab, here- let me drive you home".
Their affection grew slowly, but more and more she couldn't help but think of him, the way he spoke to her, the way he treated her... Even her friends could tell she was starting to fall for him, she seemed lighter, and happier. He made her feel prioritized, and cared for. He planned dates, wanted to show her off, and had no issues expressing how beautiful or funny he thought she was.
Alexander just finished years of school and hard work building a life for himself. He had been dating a bit, but was ready to seriously start looking- he just hadn't quite found the right person. He matched with a girl named Shebahn on a dating site, who played a sport with one of his coworkers who ironically was going to try and set them up days before they were supposed to go on their first date. They knew for sure it was the same girl because the spelling was a bit wild for a small town in Canada.
