An exceptionally "emo" nerd, Jacob, is a typical nerdy, wimpy underdog with friends who are equally nerdy and wimpy, struggling to belong.
But, he's worse! He's a 'Weeaboo', or an 'Otaku.'
Life as a high school boy who likes anime is pretty routine; getting outcasted for being a nerdy Weeb Freak and is only safe because his best friend's older sister's the hottest girl on campus, and to top it off, a shit home condition with 3 brothers and a single mom who hates him.
So one totally random day, when Jacob goes on a random stroll, contemplating suicide, he encounters Chase, literally the most popular bad boy in school, getting beaten to a pulp by his own father!
Ever since, the two bonded in the most intimate, most philosophical, most inhumane way.
