This short story is for a request I was given! The cover art is a coloring done by Okfuckinrip on reddit, so all of the credit goes to them (it was the only SFW fanart I could find of Ippan LMAO).

You are 19 and you live in a small village with your best friend Monamo who is also 19. You and Monoma spend loads of time together ever since you were little. Your parents are best friends with his parents and taught both of you how to hunt and become hunters. To provide for the village. So after a few years of training, you both were old enough to go out and hunt by yourselves. But while you were hunting one day it was raining and your foot slipped on a tree branch which caused you to fall. But as you were falling you closed your eyes and waited for impact but never felt it. You were about to open your eyes before feeling the ground. You heard something move away and quickly opened your eyes to see the tip of the orange tail dissapearinton the bushes.
