Run Into You

Ruby Lee was a school achiever who gave no shit about anything but getting accepted in a well-known university and living her best life out of the town. One day, her best friend, Ivy Ramos, with all her madness for romance stories, toiled her on a double date with Daniel Oakley, an orphan who apparently was quite well-known in their school.

Even though at the beginning Daniel said he would only meet Ruby once, their relationship went better than the both of them expected. That only longed until the day when Ruby confessed her feelings to Daniel. Something inside Daniel, who was still in the process of healing a wound from his childhood, was bigger than his fondness of Ruby. So all he did was outright reject the girl's feelings.

Ruby was brokenhearted, it was hurt so much that she thought she could die. She never expected that her love was unrequited and ended up very painful to the point when she felt like being choked. She was so blind when Daniel had given her a bunch of signs of how he didn't feel the same way as her. Ruby was mad, but even worse, she was sad. So, she left.

Four years later, Ruby returned to her hometown. It was never in her plan to make up with Daniel but the boy was too persistent to approach her. Unbeknownst to her, the same guy who hurt her four years ago harbors deep regrets for what he did to Ruby. But isn't it too late for that?
