"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams.
Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know.
"He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word.
"I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks.
It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man.
"I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about.

To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home. The foster family just happens to be the Midoriyas.

This is a story where little Izuku (literally) bumps into Eraser Head, or Shouta Aizawa when he was escaping his kidnappers. Izuku is brought to a hospital considering the terrible condition he's in, turns out he refuses to leave Aizawa's side and clings to dear life to his arm. When police come to try and see who the boy is, all that comes up is a missing lead and a new case to solve. Izuku refuses to say anything other than his first name, when the Heroes tried to force him into talking about what happened to him he broke down into a terrible panic attack; so they didn't try again. He looks younger than he actually is due to an incident from his kidnappers and he's littered with scars that tell stories themselves. With not wanting to let Aizawa go, Aizawa takes the roll of his father, introducing Izuku to the underground hero's, underground family. The more Shoto learns about the different personalities inhabiting Izuku Midoriya's body, the harder he seems to fall for the troubled villain/ anxious sweetheart. Midoriya works for the League of Villains, but something about the whole situation screams deceit. Is Midoriya truly evil? Can Izuku do the right thing, and push past his cowardice to serve the greater good? And can Shoto break free of his past, and start participating in life instead of watching from the sidelines?
