Sonic learns that Silver is not doing so well after the adventure with the Ifrit. But helping someone is hard, when that person is stubborn, and withdrawn, and doesn't want to accept he needs help in the first place, and also is still vehemently convinced he doesn't like anyone from the past anyway.
Luckily Sonic's got some tricks up his sleeve to lend Silver a hand all the same.

Espio had been taken by this mysterious being who has it out for Shadow, teaming with the darkness that lurks in the shadows to take both Silver and Shadow down for good while breaking their reptilian friend. Meanwhile, Knuckles has conflicting emotions about the blue hero, Sonic the Hedgehog, in denial that he should even have such love for him, thinking he didn't deserve the same, Sonic trying to convince Knuckles otherwise. When Shadow gets injured from one of his and Sonic's infamous fights and is left bed bound, Sonic feels pure guilt and goes to apologise to him.
