"Foxer Howler" is a young adult fiction about a girl who is like a werewolf but not quite. Melody Smith is a 14 year old girl who is a Foxer. Foxers are like werewolves but you end up at a fox instead. When Melody undergoes her first transformation all things go downhill from there. Her best friend, Melissa, doesn't know what she is but that doesn't mean that she can't find out. The easy way, or the hard way. When Melody runs into some trouble with other Foxers, life takes a turn for the worst, which leaves Melody fighting for her life.

I love the world and I built and the characters with all my heart but the writing is incredibly outdated and the plot progression is all over the place. I may reuse these characters in the future, but this series has come to an end. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended.
