This is not a clear story, it never was woven to be so and it shouldn't be read as such either. I hope that I've accomplished my role of writing it truthful to its real life counterpart and that its protagonists, wherever they might be now, consider it a loyal transliteration of the events they lived and to which I've assisted long ago. Time becomes the only common thread, where jumps and runs continuously undo and redo its course, where a group of friends becomes the inexorable guardian of its fragile safety, because a shadow looms over existence and humanity might not be ready just yet. You'll have to read and see.

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

[MALE READER IN REVERSE 1999] - 𝗦𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗡 FANFIC "𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙩, 𝙣𝙤 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙣𝙤𝙬" ---------------------✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸-------------------- It can be challenging to get used to the behaviour of the people in this era but it's important to remember that they are just trying to survive in their own unique way. You never know what they're going through, and a little kindness goes a long way. Time travelling can be quite an experience. It is fascinating to see how things were in the past. For instance, it may be difficult to understand why people behave in certain ways or communicate with different accents, like Ring. Therefore, keep an open mind and embrace the possibility of learning something new. With the right attitude and determination, one can navigate through these challenges and make the most out of this time travelling adventure. There are always those who do not seem to understand the gravity of the situation. Y/N may be an arcanist, or perhaps something else entirely. However, his disregard for the seriousness of time travel can have devastating consequences, and it is impossible to protect the timeline from his reckless behavior. Every decision he makes is like the butterfly's effect where a single flap can cause the 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘀𝘁 on the other side of the world. So beware, for Y/N may be your saving grace... or the undoing of this universe as you know it. A massive 'What-if', when certain figures associated with 'The Storm' met the Timekeeper? Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

26 parts Complete Mature

You're awake. You're different. You exist, suddenly, as two things. You, the one you know, with the body and name you're familiar with--and this new you, the one exists within you. This you is inhabiting a world within your own. This other consciousness that you see through has begun to sense its timeline, each word a moment. Like the you you're familiar with, this self seems to come into its life mid-story--though the way you experience this life/story differs vastly from what you're used to. As you grow you will eventually know how to articulate it, even recreate it. First, however, you must choose to embark on/in this small incarnation; you must read the first word. For those who will tread forth on this journey, we salute you. You have been dubbed Archeia, may your journey be ever abundant.
