"Does such a thing as "the fatal flaw", that showy dark crack running down the middle of a life, exist outside of literature? I used to think it didn't Now I know it does" President Snow and his First Lady had built an unmatched empire. All their enemies have fallen. Vipers, they were called behind shut doors. Poisonous. Deadly in their own right. Nobody dared to stand in their way. But once they had been foolish and hopefull, a girl born from fire and a boy forged from ice, clinging desperately to the future they hope to built. Belladona and Coriolanus. A match formed in hell, aching for nirvana. How far would two starving souls are willing to go to ensure their wants?

"Coriolanus Snow swore off love until a raven flew into his arena and changed the game." - The Nightsong. They said ravens were the largest songbird, and the girl who carried its namesake had to live up to its powerful legacy. Raven Wingard had to prove she could sing with fire and tame the snakes that dared hiss. One in particular desired a path to power, swore never to love again, until a songbird sang once more. But unlike the one lost in gray, this one was loud, proud, and so much worse than the first because ravens didn't fade, they aroused. They called her the Nightsong, and her haunting hymns brought back memories to a snake who wished to forget his scars. He wasn't sure if he wanted to cage her, break her, or burn the world down to keep her voice alive. In Panem, new memories formed - some pure, others damned - in a world built on the ashes of fallen children and rebellion. Would their survival end with roses or nameless graves? Trigger warnings/tropes:: sexual situations, angst, violence, death, blood and gore, drugs and alcohol, cursing, enemies to lovers, power imbalance, forced proximity, misogyny, mentor, college setting, I-can-fix-him, toxic to healing, redemption, and falling for a villain. Read if you have an obsession with the young version of President Snow. Because I do.
