Alloy Circuitbreaker has been exiled from her colony and has been living alone in a bunker, only ever seeing corpses when she leaves in the morning. Until during one run, a different light shines in the distance. The lonely mechanic approaches and finds a Disassembly Drone, unconscious and beat up in the snow. Disregarding their safety, they take the MD into her bunker with intentions to nurse him back to health. Her new guest has a prickly demeanor and plans to off her once the job is done, but she isn't one to care for she has been so alone, any company at all is a blessing to her. Until then, K-15 must get through life with no hands, seeing only in silhouettes. Will Alloy perish according to plan? Or will the prideful soldier learn humility and gain a cause that's truly worth fighting for?

On Black Friday in 2015, a bioterrorist releases a plague in NYC that leads to societal collapse. Months later, a former college student in urban Virginia tries to find her new place and new people at a settlement of survivors rebuilding their lives, reflects on the rough road that got her there, and helps apply boot to ass of those would would endanger it all. This story is only loosely set in the world of Tom Clancy's The Division, and requires no game knowledge to read. This story focuses on the lives of normal, "regular" people, potential imaginary NPCs in the original universe. This is a fan work only, all copyrights belong to original owners.
