LT. Ethan Gunner was a rational, if ruthless man. Sending him on a deep space mission to colonize a planet seemed like a terrible idea. Yet, he woke up on a ship, in the deep void of space, on route to an alien planet with only himself and a medical droid, with hardly any memory of what he signed up for. Upon arrival, he finds life, though these lifeforms are unlike any ever seen. Survival had now become the number one priority, though the life here threatens that goal. A normal man would give up, but a trained soldier finds a way, and Ethan Gunner is one of the best.
(if anyone has advice on how to make covers, please tell. I could use that information to make my stories that little bit better.)

Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. I know a lot of people skip Prologues, however, it has important information that will give you a better understanding of what's going on in other chapters. Feel free to comment and vote. After being convicted of a murder she didnt commit alita is left stranded on the hostile world filled with carnivorous plants, ruthless criminals, hostile natives, and bloodthirsty monsters. She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive. The only issue being is the last thing he wants is a pathetic, weak human girl following him around. (Limited time only read!) (A 1 hour read - short story - completed) Young chemist Sinclair, works deep inside the human extermination complex of the State government A government that was always fighting in a world war. The planet was radiating, and getting unbearable. The pollution, fueled by the occasional use of mile wide micro-atomic nuclear strikes, gave urgency of your own coming death, so much so, it drove many quite batty. For relief, Sinclair took all the free government medications, keeping himself high but responsible at his government chemistry work. En-route now to Lightlake air base. He intended to derail his life once and for all. But first he'd do his part, he would render the master chemtrail formula into a harmless state. That should last at least a year, if not longer, if it went undetected. It was the noble thing to do he thought, considering the enormous ever-growing state body count. We join Sinclair now on the military passenger jet as he finds himself once again witnessing a murder. His closest colleague's murder. But for Sinclair... there would be a more intimate end-of-life experience.Complete
