The tension at camp is high. There's a mysterious person in the artifact Shadowheart possesses and it just happens to be Githyanki. The wizard is a ticking time bomb, and the magistrate is a rogue and a vampire? Tav's mind swims as they think of their merry band of misfits. If they don't do something quickly, they may not make it to Moonrise Towers in one piece. Ceremorphosis won't take them, but a "friendly" blade will.

After saving the city and getting rid of the tadpole, Talin, a skilled storm sorceress who was born and grew up in a privilege, comes home to Baldur's Gate, where strict expectations of the city's upper class and the pressure of her noble responsibilities await her. She made strong connections during her journey and found love amidst the chaos. But at home, she and Astarion have to face not only bias against creatures of the night but also the expectations placed upon Talin. As they dig into Astarion's past and search for a cure for his vampiric affliction, they have to figure out how much they're willing to risk for a chance at a life together in a society where going against the norm could be disastrous. Hi there! This is my first fanfiction and I've never written anything like this, but I love this game and I love fantasy and RPGs so I wanted to try this out and started writing for myself. I really enjoyed writing it, so I decided to share it and I hope you'll enjoy it too.
