When Quinn Lewis volunteers for her cousin Arya, she makes a promise to herself and Arya that she will win the games and that she won't let them change her. But when she meets the tributes she realizes that all promises won't always be kept. And when she meets her mentor they fall in love, but they can't be together, especially since he's a mentor and she's a tribute, the only way she can be with him is if she wins the games... But in the arena her and a different tribute start to fall for each other, she can't be with him though, she loves her mentor, but no one can have everything they want,
