In the wake of Earth's imminent demise, a group of thirty survivors awakens on an enigmatic planet in a parallel universe, their memories erased by the cosmic transition. Among the pioneers is Callista, a woman with a forgotten past, once married on Earth, now facing the daunting challenge of forging a new civilization. As a panel of leaders emerges to guide them, men and women are randomly paired to ensure the continuation of humanity. Callista must adhere to the rules mandating random pairings, thrusting Callista and her husband into the arms of others. Yet, an irresistible force draws them together clandestinely as they navigate a forbidden romance amid the challenges of survival. Little do Callista and her mysterious husband know, they are soulmates separated by the amnesia shrouding their shared history. Their stolen moments become a refuge from the rigid rules of the new society, echoing a connection that transcends the boundaries of this unfamiliar world. Months pass, and the survivors grapple with an unexpected development-the slow return of their memories. Fragments of their past lives emerge, threatening to disrupt the delicate balance of their newfound existence. Simultaneously, a lurking darkness on the new planet adds an ominous layer to their struggles, echoing the mysterious departure of the planet's previous inhabitants. The survivors, unknowingly mirroring the actions of those who came before them, face the haunting question of whether history is destined to repeat itself. In "Paper Planes," a gripping sci-fi/romantic tale, love, loss, and resilience intertwine. As the survivors uncover their shared past secrets, confront echoes across universes, and grapple with impending darkness, the story explores if love will prevail or if the ghosts of memories will force a flight from the planet, mirroring a cycle of civilizations lost in the cosmic unknown. **Inspired by the movie "Don't Look Up."**

She survived the end. But it's only the beginning. Ever thought escaping Earth meant survival. Instead, it meant sacrifice. She lost her parents, her sister, and the two boys she loves-left behind to an uncertain fate. Now, on a distant planet she never asked to call home, Ever reunites with the brother she thought was dead. But this new world is not the refuge it promised to be. Her sister's haunting last words echo in her mind: "Your friends may be your foes, and your foes may be your only chance for survival." With her memories fractured by reimaging, Ever struggles to tell truth from illusion, ally from enemy-even within herself. As a genetically modified human, she carries a dangerous secret: she may be the only woman capable of creating life. To Environettix, the ruthless corporation pulling the strings, that makes her their most valuable-and most vulnerable-target. And she isn't the only one. The other Mods brought from Earth are caught in the same web of lies, their very existence exploited for an agenda darker than they ever imagined. But the planet itself holds secrets of its own. And Ever is beginning to realize a chilling truth: they don't belong here. And when something doesn't belong, it's only a matter of time before it's erased. *This is Book 2 in The Ash and Ember Series
