Mature
There might be nothing more after this
there might be nothing left to come.
The yearnings of my soul not satisfied,
the cries of my heart unheard.

 Behold, two windows broken
the shattered glass, yet memories still last.
My reflection scattered across the floor.
Anoint my hand with blood,
my regret runneth over.
Slumber my only true friend now.
My somber past, this broken glass.
I close my eyes to sleep, never wanting to wake up again.
