William Afton started as a good man with a loving drive to entertain children. One day his son Michael accidentally puts his younger brother, Evan in the mouth of one of the animatronics therefore leading to his death. After that incident, William's soul became corrupted and his drive to entertain children was no more. Instead, his murderous spree began, thus leading to a completely different person.
