Riders of the Rift

A nameless human slave has spent the better part of her existence fighting for her life. After committing a crime to protect herself, she is sentenced to fight in The Pit for 10 years, a fighting ring known to kill any who are weak and unworthy. Coming to be known by her stage title 'Roach' after defeating the odds, she is famous for her resilience and has never lost a fight. Everything changes though after a series of unforeseen circumstances, circumstances that leave her with life altering injuries that lead her to a life of frailty.

Through a series of terrible and odd circumstances, the slave woman finds herself hopelessly intertwined with The Riders of The Rift, a group of heroes that call themselves Dreksál, dragon riders. She discovers that each of them has the power to burn down kingdoms, overturn oppressive regimes, and change the Realm for the better. But only one, a man feared and hated by all, has the power to make her burn with a flame she never knew could grow so out of control, one that makes her rethink what it really means to have passion for who and what you love.
