Kim Taehyung is a Night Stalker. While the world stays silent in slumber, Taehyung and his squad break into the homes of suspicious persons. Although these missions are sanctioned by the government, if Taehyung, or any member of his squad, are caught, they are thrown under the bus. It is the single most dangerous and secretive job in the world, only done by those the government deems "trustworthy."

During a routine shift, Taehyung stumbles upon a conspiracy greater than any he has encountered before. Taehyung finds himself caught between his dedication to his job and his morals. Catastrophic choices are made, betrayal waits around every corner, and Taehyung's life is on the line. However, the story begins with that routine shift. The shift where Taehyung finds a broken woman who was trapped in a man's basement for twenty years...
