Kim Sunwoo and Im Gitae are childhood friends who grew up spending almost all of their time together. They spent most of their school lives in the same class so Sunwoo falling for Gitae didn't take much. One day, courage and overthinking took over him and he confessed to Gitae. Unfortunately that decision led Sunwoo experiencing his first ever confession, rejection and heartbreak, all at the same time. Their friendship eventually led them apart until Gitae had to move away because of his mother's work.

Years later they met again through an upperclassman during the freshmen welcoming dinner for university. Their unexpected reunion awoke feelings from the past for Sunwoo, the feeling of being rejected and heartbroken.
