Eons after the first war between Autobots and Decepticons, Cybertron is finally beginning to recover. This means that every Cybertronian whose frame is at least 80% intact shall rise once more, and with new beginnings comes new conflicts. But with new conflicts comes new alliances. Transformers Prime: Optimus's Second in Command: Jetfire by Cabe516

After the death of Cliffjumper, the autobots were dealt quite the blow, both emotionally and in their numbers. On top of that air superiority is still in the decepticons favor which is still a big problem for the Autobots. But the day after the Autobots try to rescue Cliffjumper; only to find him as an undead terrorcon zombie, Ratchet picks up an autobot signal, but is perplexed to see that it is airborne. Most believe it's a trap, but Optimus believes that it is still worth investigating. As they try to do so the decepticons also pick up the signal. But the signal originator aids the Autobots in driving off the decepticons in his green cargo plane mode resembling a modified Antonov An-225. After the decepticons are dealt with, the jet hovers in front of the Autobots and then transforms into a bot that is nearly equal in height to Optimus himself. Once transformed Optimus immediately recognized who this bot was... his second in command, Jetfire. (A/N: Yes I am using the Transformers Cybertron Jetfire for this fanfic. And he will have his cyberkey power but it will be explained differently in the story.)

When Starscream once again tries to usurp Megatron, it's finally the last straw as he becomes exiled and handicapped from the Decepticons, but that just woke a sleeping giant from inside the Seeker. Now Starscream wages a vengeful one-man war between the Autobots and Decepticons. His plan involves the Eradicons, a new sub faction of Decepticons and the most powerful combiner team to date. Led by the obsessive Motormaster, who has only one goal in life: To kill Optimus to prove he is the king of the road. Now Earth is a complete war zone as it becomes a four-way struggle for control between the Autobots and the humans, Decepticons, Insecticons, and Starscream. As we draw near to the end of phase 1 with an ending that we all know and fear, can the Autobots win the most important battle of their lives?
