She didn't have very many friends because people said she looked mean and would kill Them if anyone even tried talking to her. So most of the time she was with her mom doing chores. She lost her dad at the young age of 6. She never thought her life would take this big of a turn. In this Hunger Games fan fiction, we follow the story of Grace Frost, a 16-year-old girl from District 12 who was reaped for the 76th Hunger Games. Grace is not particularly skilled in hunting or combat, but she has a likable personality that makes her popular among her peers. Before leaving for the games, Grace asks Katniss, the winner of the 74th Hunger Games, to take care of her daughter, Faith Anderson, in case she does not make it back. Katniss agrees to the request, knowing all too well the pain of losing loved ones in the games. The 76th Hunger Games are unique in that they are taking place during a time of increasing rebellion against the Capitol. As the games progress, Grace realizes that she has become a symbol of hope for the people, much like Katniss did in the previous games. She uses her popularity and charm to win the support of other tributes and the Capitol audience. Meanwhile, Katniss and other rebels are working behind the scenes to support Grace and use her as a symbol to rally more people to their cause. They know that the Capitol will do everything in their power to prevent a repeat of the 74th games, where a tribute from District 12 emerged victorious.
