"The Quileute boy, nearly a man now, had always been the happiest person she knew. He'd been the optimist while she was the realist or the pessimist. He had always tried so hard, and she had looked up to him in that way. He was happy as the sunshine, and she didn't realize how much she had missed it until that moment. "

______

When Bella finally gets back to Forks, she realizes her best friend has grown up. On top of that, a boy in her class is being very strange. She must navigate this new world she finds herself in without getting her dad or herself killed. How does one handle Vampires or Werewolves on top of being a teenager?

Jacob can't believe his best friend and childhood crush is back. He's grown up a bit, and the weight of his tribe is on his shoulders. Can he handle that and this incredible draw to her? Should be a piece of cake in comparison to the vampire following her around.

This is a fix-it. I'm gonna try to fix the shit SMeyer did. I am also a hopeless romantic, so expect this to be romantic and angsty.

She stole and ruined lives to keep her own. She sucked souls dry to try and save hers. She survived, though sometimes, she wasn't sure if doing so was worth it, especially when it meant others were put through the torment of death as a result. Sage was nothing but a puppet, but then the arrival of Renesmee Cullen cut her strings and gave her something she had not felt in a long time--hope. Sam hated vampires. Mostly, he was biased since he was bred to hate them, and his ancestors loathed them, but he really hated vampires. So, when Leah imprinted on one, he contemplated ripping the bloodsucker to shreds if only to keep his pack (and his feelings) safe. However, the undeniable sense of joy Leah got around the leech stopped him, and Sam did nothing but let her rejoice in finding her other half, no matter how much it disgusted him (and broke his heart) to see her with him. The arrival of Sage Volturi was enough to turn his world completely upside down. (And enough to bring his nightmares to life.) Now, Sam has to deal with seeing the woman he loved with another man while dealing with the fact that he imprinted on the very creature he was sworn to hate. ❦ [sam uley] [post-breaking dawn]

𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐘 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐱 𝐎𝐂 That's all they ever thought she'd be good for. A good imprint. Quiet... caring... nurturing... she'd never be strong like her brother.
