Louise is constantly picked on for her lack of magical talent. She acts tough but often cries herself to sleep over it.
Matters only become more complicated when she summons a down-on-his-luck university graduate named Michael to Tristain as her familiar. What's more, their binding kiss somehow imbues him with fire magic, too.
Louise gets closer to her new familiar in the coming weeks. However, Michael's kind and caring nature also earn him the attention of several other ladies in Tristain Academy, too. Coupled with a shadowy faction trying to sow unrest in Tristain, the master and familiar pair end up going through many dramatic ups and downs.
Can the two fight through their mutual struggles and maintain a strong bond?
