Nathan Harper suspected something was a little off when his deranged father tried to kill him when he was just six years old. Nevertheless, he lived a relatively normal life among other humans. It wasn't until he bumped into the devilishly brutal mermaid, Elizabeth Trescothik, that his life finally began to make sense. However, Elizabeth proved to be brave and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with boating. Nathan soon learned that Elizabeth had taken an oath never to kiss a human being. When Nathan's deranged father is injured in a shipwreck accident, Nathan realises his own life is at risk. Despite Elizabeth's sharp fangs and translucent body, Nathan finds himself falling for the mermaid. Only fate will decided whether she kills or protects him. One night, a fairy appears before Nathan and warns him of a darkness within Elizabeth. The fairy gives Nathan the enchanted harpoon - the only weapon that can defeat a brutal mermaid. Will Nathan love or kill the mermaid???
