In a land ravaged by war and destruction, it's not uncommon to find orphans and wanderers with no set path and little knowledge of themselves. Morana is no exception. Her life has been one of inconsistency, moving from place to place every few years, always trying to keep ahead of an unknown danger. But she can't hide forever, and danger is quickly closing in.

When a brutal attack leaves Morana alone and on the run, she has no choice but to search for answers, both about herself and about the Dark Lord pursuing her.
