Katherine "Kate" Dean, is 24 and, has just moved from her long time home Harlem, New York, to Vancouver, Washington. She has a huge secret, one she's never told anyone. She's a werewolf, an elder to be exact. She was one of the very first wolfs in history and she has yet to meet her "mate". Her wolf Zandra has not shown herself in a long time.
