The Shozu family moves from New Domino to Satellite in hopes of change. But three months after they arrive, Aruki and Ben are killed. Their children, Tashira and Careen, are offered to go back to the City and live with the Director. Careen agrees, but her big sister declines and makes a run for it. She travels until she meets a nice lady, Martha, who runs an orphanage. There she makes friends with three boys; Yusei, Crow, and Jack. Years later, they meet Kalin and join together to make Satellite a better place for its residents. But when Kalin gets arrested and Tashira goes missing, everything crumbles. Two years pass, and Tashira is found in the City, but seems to have forgotten her past and friends! What will come about when she is confronted by them, learns that she might be the world's only hope from destruction, and that her friend and uncle are against her?
