Growing up in the hives, Cricket has always had a million questions. Why are trees forbidden, even in art? Why do her parents seem to hate her? And the biggest, most dangerous and secret question of all: why is Cricket immune to Queen Wasp's powers? Whenever the queen takes control of all the HiveWings, speaking through their mouths and seeing through their eyes, Cricket has to hide, terrified of being discovered.

Now she's hiding again, wanted for stealing the Book of Clearsight along with her new SilkWing friends, Blue and Swordtail, and the fierce LeafWing, Sundew. The fugitives need answers, and fast, in order to prevent a LeafWing attack. But Cricket has more questions than ever. How can she stay hidden and discover the queen's deadliest secret? A LeafWing who is considered a joke among his peers, gets caught up in the storm of danger he didn't want to be apart of. A HiveWing, immune Wasp's control, fights out for the light that he feels should be shone on the less fortunate. (This was a joint project between me and a friend, Chapters from, Dragonfly's, Cobalt's and Acacia's point of view where written by her, Prologue and Epilogue are shared)

Pantala and Pyrrhia are at peace, on Pantala Cricket, Blue, Swordtail, Luna, Willow, and Sundew are neighbors having fun and hoping to get into Jade Academy, also on Pantala Amber is hoping for a new start at Jade Academy, on Pyrrhia Moon, Winter, Peril, Kinkajou, Turtle, and Qibli are waiting for school to start up again and excited to see each other again. In the second year of Jade Academy a new prophecy as come. That will change everything. A sacrifice a enemy coming back and high stakes.
