Yamamoto Akane finds herself developing a crush for a nerd in her classroom, Suzuki Kaori. She struggles with her feelings, given that having a crush on a nerd would ruin her reputation, being a popular girl.
With things also going on back at home, her father becoming an alcoholic, and her mother missing, presumably dead, she struggles to find peace and just be herself.
(This story is inspired by a Webtoon story, "Plain Boy and Prince." Go check it out if you can!) (Of course, it's a lot different, but I got the idea from the Webtoon)
